Hello, my real name is Lewis and lots of folks ask me about my nick but,as I tell them, it is a long story and you really had to be there. Suffice it to say that I have been using this nickname or a variation of it for the 6 years I have been online.
I met my wife [Donna] in 1984 and 2 months after the day we met we got married. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree to be a librarian. She also has a teacher’s certification here in OK and does lots of other stuff as well. She is not as addicted to IRC as I am, but when she is on she can usually be found on #genealogy channel using the nickname toadqueen.
We have one son [Keith] who is 10 years old. He is a soccer player (goalie) and also enjoys building models. He has been known to watch Cartoon Network for 24 hour stretches and sometimes he even pays attention to his dog (a beagle named Elvis) without being asked to. He has never cleaned his room without being asked.
We are all voracious readers in this house and have a library that is seriously stressing the support beams under the floor. Between the three of us, we read just about everything in print - and can locate just about any book by title, author, subject, or publisher if you ask.
And me: I am in the U.S. Air Force (going on 16 years now) and love my job as an aircraft sheetmetal worker. I am currently stationed at Tinker AFB, OK and, as part of a special Depot Field Team, I am deployed anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice to fix VERY broken aircraft. If it is too broke for mere mortals to fix they call us in and we either fix it or cut it up into pieces.
Like I said we now live in OK but I have lived (in no particular order) in MN; TX; NC; TN; CA; WA; NY; FL; KY; IL; CO; AK; OH; GA; PA; Athens, GR; Crete, GR; Osan AB, Korea; Riyadh AB, S.A.
