Ages of kids: 4 and 3 months

When I was small Mom sent thank you notes for everything. It didn't matter if it was the neighbor next door or Grandma 1,000 miles away. She did it for every holiday and birthday. I go nuts at Christmas and stuff trying to get out all of them. I actually just decided to STOP after Jenny was about two months old. I just couldn't write any more of them. Now I hear that you only need to write them for a few reasons. (of which I can't remember the list. A friend found it in a magazine.) Please tell me the 90's opinion on this. CHRISTMAS IS COMING SOON!

NEW! New Opinion submitted by Pam: My boys send thank you notes for all Xmas and birthday presents, whether from a friend or relative. I think kids can use all the manners they can get in today's world where manners seem to have gone by the wayside!!
