Problem: My son has been teething again for the last two weeks and every since he started his nose has been stuffy (I don't think it is a cold). He is having an extremely difficult time sleeping because of the stuffiness. It is also making him snore which also wakes him up because it is so loud. I don't want to give him medicine for a cold because that's not the problem. Do you have any suggestions?
Solution submitted by "Anonymous": I have find that a humidifier works wonders and also if you get pediatric Neosinephrine and put 2 drops in each nostril, but use only prior to bedtime. Both of these tactics have been approved by my 16 month old's pediatrician and they work beautifully. Sometimes when it gets cold and you begin to use your heat, it can dry out the air and make stuffiness a nightmare for little ones.
