Ages of kids: 2 1/2 yrs. and 7 yrs

Problem: I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl whom will not eat unless she is force-fed. I have tried to get her goodies afterwards but nothing works. She also screams until she can get down or she makes herself gag or vomit until she can get down. I am at my wits end with this problem, I have tried time-out but that does not work, I have tried popping her with my hand and that does not work. Solution submitted by Lori from Middletown, NJ: I can appreciate what you are going through, as my daughter does the same thing. She even rejects things she used to gobble down, liked scrambled eggs, grilled cheese and canned peaches. It is very frustrating! One think that I find works is not to feed her in her highchair. I will hand her a slice of cheese, or feed her yogurt in front of the tv, while she is not paying attention to me, but eating happily. Or sometimes I sit down on my kitchen floor, and she'll come up and see what I have for her. I hope these tips might help. Good luck!!
