Recipe Submitted by Smiley from Shinglehouse, PA:
Mix eggs, vanilla, salt, sugar, flour and
baking powder together. Pour in scalded
milk mixture and stir well.
Pour into a greased and floured cookie
sheet with all four edges.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
As soon as it comes out of the oven,
spread crunchy peanut butter on top of it.
Let cool. Put in refrigerator until real cool.
Melt 8 ounce Hershey Bar in microwave
oven at 50 % power for about 1 & 1/2
minutes.
Take the cake out of the refrigerator
and spread the chocolate icing on top of
the cake.
Put the cake back into the refrigerator
until the chocolate sets up.
Smiley tells us, "You can use semi-chocolate chips instead of hershey bar for a substitute. I leave the cake refrigerated because the chocolate tends to melt. Tastes like a peanut butter cup."
