#!Parentsroom

This parent's page was originally created as the official homepage for the parents who chat on the #!Parentsroom parenting chat channel on IRC. Since its inception, it has grown into a parenting resource page in its own right, while still fulfilling it's intended function as the channel homepage. The #!Parentsroom IRC Channel was created out of the need for a "wholesome" place on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) where parents and others can chat. Chat is not restricted to any particular topic, and it usually depends on who is on at any particular time as to what will be discussed. Sometimes the talk is serious, and sometimes it is silly! It's a great place for parents with children of all ages to exchange ideas on parenting and life in general. This homepage adds another dimension to the channel, giving people the opportunity to see pictures of some of the regular chatters and learn more about them and their families. It also serves as a place for all parents to post their parenting problems, give solutions to other parents' problems, answer the poll of the week, post opinions and submit parenting tips and tricks. Take a leisurely look at the different areas here, and don't forget to add a bookmark for future reference. Suggestions for new areas are always welcome.
