Ages of kids: 22, 15, 11, 8

Problem: My eight year old has always had difficulty wearing clothes. Anything sliding on him like straps of overalls, or a waistband, or sox just drive him crazy. I have been making him coveralls which he doesn't mind wearing, and he is able to tolerate certain pants with elastic waist for occasions when we demand he dress somewhat normally. Does anyone have this problem and any solution?
