"Monkey Bread"

Recipe Submitted by DALady:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter (melted)
  • 1/2 c. lite brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • Mix the sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl and set aside. In non-stick Bundt pan, drizzle 1/3 of the melted butter into the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle 1/3 of the brown sugar into the bottom of the pan. Open all 3 cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll the quarters of biscuit into the sugar/cinnamon mixture until coated. Make one layer of the coated biscuit quarters (about one can's worth) on top of the butter/brown sugar. Sprinkle the 2/3 of the rest of the brown sugar on that layer and drizzle the 2/3 of the butter onto the layer. Repeat again, with layer 2, with the sugar/cinnamon biscuit quarters, Top with the remaining brown sugar and drizzle the remaining butter. Finish the last layer just with the sugar/cinnamon covered quarters. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes depending on your oven. The Monkey Bread will expand the top should be golden brown.

DALady tells us, This is a terrific goodie, warm or cold! It's VERY fattening but, hey, once in a while on a special Sunday morning, what the heck?
