Ages of kids: 3 1/2 and 6

Problem: My 3 1/2 year old son is very articulate. The problem is that he will 'draw' out certain words in his sentences. Ex: IIIIII want to do this, or Mommy are wwwweeeee going to do this. He usually gets louder on the accented word. It's hard to listen to sometimes though I'm sure it's frustrating for him. Any ideas on what this is? Thanks

Editor's Note: I could be wrong, but this sure sounds like plain ole ordinary 3 year old whining to me!
