Does Your Family Have Any Halloween Traditions?

witch What are the traditions you have or are starting at Halloween? Because kids never want to eat dinner before they go out, I always made Chili. Easy to eat a bowl and consider that the evening meal. On a cold night it was even better. My children are grown and I still make chili on Halloween. Unfortunantely, I was usually cleaning out the pumpkin that day too. Not a good tradition.

:wizard:  Have you ever made little pizzas? That is easy and fun also. Start with a half of an English mufffin, pizza sauce and mozzella chese. The use pepperoni on top to make a jack o lantern face. Bake and eat. Yummy.

Re: Does Your Family Have Any Halloween Traditions?

We host the annual Halloween party where we redecorate the entire basement as a sort of a walk in horror booth for the kids.  They can find treats while walking through the basement... but sometimes they get surprised by the monsters (my husband and some other volunteers) who tries to drag the screaming kids by the hand.  The adults enjoy a lively conversation and talk upstairs smile
