I bought two rolls of crepe paper, one orange and one black. I wanted to use it to decorate my banisters; however, draping it just didn't look right. Then, I had an idea! 
I tied alternating colors of crepe paper around the banisters. Then, I made crepe paper bows and attached them to the strips already attched to the banisters. Now, I have the fullness and desired effect! 
If this is something you choose to do, be very careful with the crepe paper. I tears quite easily.
