One of the most fun outings in summer, is to go berry picking. May is a great month for picking strawberries and middle tn has a few farms that make this available.
June and July is great for picking blackberries and blueberries. Some farms even have cherries!
Kids love to do this, take along the sunscreen and the bug spray to make sure you don't take any more home than you came with. That is bug bites and sunburn.
