Adding photos to your post can be a little tricky, so here's a quick tutorial to get you started:
Link to a Photo
The easiest way to add a photo is to link to it. Say your photos are uploaded to Flickr, Picasaweb, Photobucket or Facebook... or anywhere else. you can easily add that photo to your post here!
First, you'll need the full URL of the photo. Many services will have a spot that says "Link to this photo" or "Embed this photo"- that's the info you'll copy. If you don't see an option like that, you can still get the URL.
Find the picture you want to link to. Right click on the photo, and select "Properties" from the dropdown menu. You'll see "Address" and a URL that starts with http:// . Copy that whole line.
Now, with your cursor in your post where you want to place the picture, click the little button that looks like a tree. It will pop up a smaller window- paste your URL into the Image URL field. Then click Insert. You are done! Optionally, you can fill in a description of the image, align it left or right and set the size to be different.
Upload a Photo
If you want to post a photo from your computer, click the little button that looks like a tree above where you write your post. A little pop up window will open. At the end of the Image URL field is a little blue and red icon- click that.
The little blue and red icon opens another window. At the top of the new window, click the Upload button. Click the Browse button and you can then navigate your computer and find the image you want to upload. Double click that image.
If your image is large, select a size under the create thumbnails area and click the Upload button. You should now see your photo in the preview area of the window. Click the image's name in the list and click the Insert File button near the top of the screen.
Now, you're back to the first pop up window and the Image URL is filled in. Everything else on that screen is optional, all you need to do now is click the green Insert button and you should see your photo in your post. Ta-da!
Manage your Photos
Under My Account, you can see all the images you've uploaded under the My Photos tab.
