There is a new company in the Middle Tn area teaching safety lessons in after school settings. These lessons are interactive, fun, and positive but teach your children some great safety lessons. For instance, home alone, cyberspace safety, walking alone,babysitting and first aid for babysitters. There are about ten very current lessons taking for an hour for the younger kids to multi hours for the babysitting classes.
Watch for them to be offerred by Scout troops, churches, and anywhere kids are after school. If you do not see them offerred at a place you would use, post your ideas here and maybe it will happen.
They are affordable, registration is on line, and knowledge is power.
