No kidding, your ad can run here for free! We value your participation in our community, so for every 100 posts you make in our forum or reviews you add for other businesses, you get 100 points. Those points can be redeemed for a month of advertising. Points are automatically added to your account everytime you post a new topic or respond to an existing topic in the forum or post a review of a local business, such as a park or restaurant.

We want REAL interaction so posting a lot of "me too" and "I agree" responses to existing topics will get your points removed. Players trying to game the system will not be rewarded.

3 responses or posts a day are all you need to establish and maintain your ad here at the ParentsRoom.  Up to 5 posts a day will count towards your balance.

Terms & Conditions

• Each ad is limited to a specific city or the main ParentsRoom site. If you have more points, you can advertise on more local sites if you choose.
• We reserve the right to refuse any ad deemed inappropriate. If you are unsure whether your ad will be accepted, please contact us to find out. Ads unlikely to be accepted:
  • Recruiting ads. If the main goal of your business is to sign up other people as members or salespeople or any other recruiting activity, your ad will not be accepted.
  • Non-family friendly businesses. Gambling, adult content, pharmaceuticals, etc. These are provided as examples, not an all-inclusive list.
  • Ads purchased strictly for link popularity. Our ads are direct links to your site but if they are not relevant, we don't want your ad. Ad space is limited (to maximize exposure for our advertisers) and we give preference to local businesses and family-friendly products- things our community is likely to find interesting and useful.
  • Ads for sites that are designed for click-arbitrage. If the only content on the site is ads, it's not useful to our community.
  • General usefulness to our community- we are looking for businesses offering real goods and services for families in specific geographic areas. Our ads are just as important to us as our content- they should be interesting and useful and have value to our visitors... junk ads increase ad blindness for all ads on our site.
• Ads purchased with points cannot be purchased more than a month a time. As each ad nears its expiration date, you must redeem more points to renew it.
• The points exchange rate WILL change. Individual site owners can change the points exchange for ads on their site at any time and the overall rate will change based on the space available. Points exchanges will be based on the rate of exchange on the date the transaction is posted.
