Problem: My son who is six, still wets the bed at least 90% of the time. I have restricted fluids, woke him up to urinate and even tried the drug; DDAVP; which worked although when it was discontinued he began wetting the bed. I did not want to continue with drug therapy because I was concerned about possible side effects. I have not tried alarms yet. He is beginning to have sleep overs and although it doesn't seem to worry him now, I know other children will begin to make fun of him as they find out. I too was a bedwetter until around 9-10 years old. I have resorted to pull ups which my son appears to be allergic to(he gets a sort of diaper rash). What could I try? Is there any thing new?? I am frustrated and very concerned about my child's well being and self esteem!!!! HELP!!!!!!!
