Problem: My son was never aggressive, but lately he had been getting a lot of toys(action figures) like G.I.JOE, Spiderman etc. I realized that he became more aggressive and violent, not only physically but verbally too. I can see that this is happening because of these toys that he is playing with and as a single parent my conclusion was that he looked up to those action figures because he doesn't have a strong father figure at home and those toys somewhat became role models for him. If this is true then I'm wondering with what kind of toys is he supposed to play with? I was wondering if you can help me understand child's behaviour towards toys and how much do toys effect their mental development. It would mean a lot to me if you can give me some more information on this. Thank you.
