Problem: My daughter has a problem refusing to pick up after self and the response is throwing the toy or toys at others in the room. I don't where she gets this but I would like to understand it more if someone could help.

Solution submitted by "Poobag" from Stevenage, Hertz, UK: From personal experience, I would say that 2 years is a little young to be taking responsibility for picking up her own toys. Can you encourage her to help you? Sort the toys perhaps (dolls in one box, bricks in another), make it a game, not a chore. I do understand the problem, and admire you for starting your daughter off early, but sometimes these things need a 'sideways' approach.
