Problem: Ok, the problem I am having is that I have a son who is 11 years old. I have been a single mom since he was 10 months old, with little to no participation from his real father. Throughout the years, I have rarely dated any seriously, until about a year and a half ago when I met and fell in love with my fiance. We have now been living together for just over a year, and MOST of the time, my son seems to be happy about the new family unit we have. However, there are these times when he is the angriest child on earth, or so it seems to us. Not only do I have concerns about his resentment of my fiance, but my fiance has never had children of his own, and has a difficult time knowing what to do between the two of them without my suggestions. Needless to say, this is frustrating for me on both ends. I love my son more than life, but I also love my fiance, and we are going to be married in October. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know...Thanks
